Afraid of Taking Centre Stage?

TODAY’S HOROSCOPE — APRIL 20th 2021

@kazuo513

The 1 degree Moon in Leo is being heavily challenged from a defensive square and a transformative opposition. The Taurean fixed square is made up of the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Uranus. They’re getting ready for the real clash of titans, later this week, involving Saturn in Aquarius. Before this happens the Sun and Moon strike a discordant note. They’re foreshadowing what is to come. This may result in you feeling a disconnection between your secure external personality and your true emotions.

Although you’ve spent time building up and displaying how resourceful you are, your life lacks a certain spark. And this is what the Leo Moon is trying to show you. To move beyond the tangible security given by Taurus:

  1. Which area/s of your life are you afraid to take centre stage?
  2. What is preventing you from doing so?

By unpicking your psychological and emotional baggage you gain more clarity over your values. And in turn they will help you to quench your thirst. This should involve some type of bold action because the Moon’s 1 degree position relates to Aries. So once you’ve stepped into the light of your life, approach it with enthusiastic leadership and pride. If you continue to hide your light under a bushel, your internal conflict will persist. One outcome leads you to behaving erratically with volatile emotional outbursts. Before this happens work on what needs to be changed.

The separating, out of sign opposition between the Moon and Pluto in Capricorn, present another reminder. The Moon has moved ahead of the Lord of Metamorphosis. If you are still carrying your emotional load, now is the time to ditch it forever. To do so, you must peel back the layers of your experiences. If you want to become the Phoenix that finally rises from the ashes, you can’t remain the same.

PS: I’d love to hear how you’re working with today’s energy. Feel free to leave a comment.

Quote of the Day — Julia Cameron

“All too often, it is audacity and not talent that moves an artist to centre stage.”
